During our research on antivirus apps, we’ve identified six key criteria for you to consider when choosing an antivirus app:

1. Does the antivirus app protect my Samsung device against viruses, ransomware, Trojans, and other malware?
2. Does it come with extra protection features such as password managers and VPN?
3. Can the app be used on my other devices, even when running on different operating systems?
4. Is the price of the product affordable?
5. What are the payment methods?
6. What is the support and customer service that is offered?

Before making a final decision, ask yourself:

• Does the antivirus software protect my device, and do so in real-time without interfering with the device’s performance?
• Does the antivirus software come with any extra protection features?
• What investments (e.g. time and money) need to be made to get the app up and running?
